Over three decades ago, our family embarked on a journey to Georgia, a place where our values and aspirations could thrive.  We sought smaller schools, wholesome friendships and the comforting ambiance of a small town where a trip to the market could lead to cherished conversations with neighbors.

As a devoted stay-at-home mom to our three daughters, I cherished the opportunities to be deeply involved in their lives.  We embraced the art of milling and baking our bread, creating delightful treats for both family, friends, and community,  particularly during the holiday season. Life moved at a gentler pace, filled with moments shared with dear friends. It was during these years that Pecan Anna began to take root, even though we did not realize it at the time.

The rich Georgia pecans, a true Southern gem, became our secret indulgence as we could not help but share with loved ones.  Each year, nearly 50 pounds of these golden delights were transformed into delectable gifts were hand-delivered to close friends and shipped to friends and family across the country.  They eagerly anticipated these heart felt packages each Christmas.    

As the years passed and our children ventured out on their own, it was my daughters and their husbands who provided the spark of encouragement. My husband Kim and I decided it was time to “officially” create Pecan Anna.  Now we can extend the warmth and joy of Christmas throughout the year, sharing these delicious gifts of the South with a wider audience.

Pecan Anna is more than a brand, it is the embodiment of cherished family traditions, the bonds of friendship  and the love for authentic Southern flavors. We are excited to invite you to be part of our story, savoring the taste of Georgia’s heart and warmth of family, one pecan at a time.
